Iryna's Nail Academy
Iryna Giblett Nail Academy Exhibition and Workshop Dates Nail Art Buffet Workshops This is a totally new concept in nail art and design education that is perfect for nail technicians who are interested in offering nail art to their clients and increasing profits, or who would like a taster of the main techniques before taking further detailed workshops to develop their skills in depth. This workshop has been a big success in Sweden. Techs love the variety and the amount of new techniques they learn in a very short time which develop their material handling skills and that allows them to make money with nail art. The Buffet consists of three separate classes during the day that uses the three main mediums of : ¤ hand-painting using acrylic paint ¤ gel design ¤ acrylic design and fantasy Each class runs for 3 hours and includes 1-hour of Educator led instruction by Iryna, followed by 2 hours of hands-on practice coupled with personal guidance from Iryna. Some of the techniques you will learn: Gel: ¤ how to create a perfect stiletto nail in gel ¤ how to create a lace effect in gel ¤ embedding an acrylic design in gel -> you will create 2 to 3 designs depending on your speed Hand-Painting: ¤ which brushes to use for different techniques ¤ some brush exercises to train your hand ¤ basic nail art composition ¤ when to use hand painting to enhance gel and acrylic designs -> you will create 4 to 6 designs depending on your speed Acrylic and Fantasy: ¤ how to create a flat acrylic design ¤ how to create a perfect 3D rose ¤ introduction to fantasy and improved material control that will enhance your salon skills ¤ create your first fantasy piece! A 3d rose placed on a nail bed of leaves. -> you will create 2 to 4 designs depending on your speed Booking As this is a product neutral education, please bring materials, brushes and tools (pinchers for c-curve) and ideally a UV lamp. Brushes will be available for sale if required. We will provide some materials for use during the class for those who forget. We will also take a group photo so you have this as an additional memory. Vicki Peters NAIL KAMP workshops Have you ever wanted a private lesson from a seasoned professional to help you master your fundamentals? Frustrated with your application techniques? This is the perfect, non-product related environment, to learn what you didn’t learn in school or to learn how to perfect your nails. NAIL KAMP is for the tech who needs mentoring with liquid to powder control, brush care, filing & shaping, finish work, polish skills, sculpting and tip application, acrylic, gel application plus electric filing techniques and sanitation skills. The purpose of this hands-on workshop is to help strengthen the attendee’s skills, shorten their service time, and raise their skill level. You will spend two days under the direction of Vicki Peters and Iryna Giblett in a small classroom environment to work on those skills. Each attendee will receive one-on-one, hands-on direction, on the technical skills they need to work on followed by a detailed “report card”, along with plenty of networking time, critiquing, Q&A and knowledge and experience you will not find anywhere else. All attendees will receive Electric File Certification and a NAIL KAMP Certificate of Participation. Vicki Peters Electric File Certification This 6 hour hands on class includes all aspects of how to use an electric file, how bits are made, bit finishes and shapes, what bits are used for, how to care for your machine, sanitation procedures, using an electric file safely, and Vicki Vision demonstrations on surface, cuticle and backfill work. Two hours of hands on practice with personal instruction on individual needs. Each student will receive a Certificate indicating Safe Electric File Use Training and will receive a free carbide bit.
